Pétanque Play With Covid As An Ongoing Reality:

The Pierre Joske Pétanque Park is fully open and LPM members are again enjoying both casual and organized tournaments. Restrictions are lifted and life is feeling somewhat back to normal, but Covid continues to evolve and remains a part of our reality. While strict rules are no longer necessary, awareness and health precautions are still important. We invite anyone interested in playing pétanque to join us.  But to keep players healthy and safe, we ask that you not come to the courts if you have any Covid symptoms or are just not feeling well. Also, while masks are not required, anyone who feels more comfortable masking, is welcome to do so.

Lets play Pétanque!

Pétanque is a fun French game.

La Pétanque Marinière in San Rafael, California has been an active Marin  pétanque  club since 1972 and affiliated with  the Fédération of Pétanque USA, since 1975. We welcome people of all abilities, ages and nationalities to come and enjoy pétanque with us.

The Pierre Joske Petanque Courts are located on Civic Center drive in San Rafael. (click for directions).

Casual games are played every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from about 12:30-4 pm.

If you are a club member, please use the 'LPM Casual Play' group in the Signal App, to schedule weekday play.

Tournament play is usually held on the second Sunday of every month.
